Tuition: $180.00 per 8 week session (3 sessions)
Dates: 9/27, 10/1, 10/4, (NO Rehearsal 10/11), 10/18, 10/25,11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22
Location: St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church, 200 Hempstead St. New London, CT (Community Center)

The mission of the Thames Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is to encourage and develop artistic excellence among young musicians in southeastern Connecticut by providing diverse and quality orchestral experiences, and to enhance the cultural environment of the families and communities it serves.

Are you a talented musician striving for artistic excellence? Join the Thames Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra! Develop your talent and gain valuable performance skills under the expertise of conductor Evan Meccarello.

As an orchestra member, you’ll have the spotlight twice each year, during Winter and Spring concerts, to showcase your skills in the highest quality orchestral environment. You’ll also be treated to engaging educational opportunities alongside your ensemble – students traveled to Boston to see a professional performance by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in spring 2019!

The Thames Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra started in 2004 and has been growing ever since. We’re always searching for enthusiastic and talented students, so sign-up for the next audition!

Already Registered?

Excellent! Rehearsals take place weekly in John C. Evans Hall at Connecticut College on Sundays from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. See you there!
