The mission of the Thames Valley Youth Symphony is to encourage and develop artistic excellence among young musicians in southeastern Connecticut by providing diverse and quality orchestral experiences, and to enhance the cultural environment of the families and communities it serves.

As an orchestra member, you’ll have the spotlight twice each year, during Winter and Spring concerts, to showcase your skills in the highest quality orchestral environment. You’ll also be treated to engaging educational opportunities alongside your ensemble – students traveled to Boston to see a professional performance by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in spring 2019!
The Thames Valley Youth Symphony started in 2004 and has been growing ever since. We’re always searching for enthusiastic and talented students, so sign-up for the next audition!

To apply for financial aid, please fill out a Financial Aid Form and mail to us along with a copy of your most recent IRS 1040 or 1040 EZ Tax Form.
