If this sounds like you, sign up now to audition for the fall. Our youth symphony includes strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. They meet on Sunday afternoons in the beautiful Evans Hall at Connecticut College. Under the direction of conductor, Evan Meccarello, and other esteemed guest conductors and coaches, you will be able to gain valuable experience that you will benefit from and appreciate for a lifetime. As an orchestra member, you’ll have the opportunity to perform in 3 concerts to showcase your skills in the highest quality orchestral environment. The Thames Valley Youth Symphony was founded in 2004. Its mission is to encourage and develop artistic excellence among young musicians in the southeastern Connecticut area by providing diverse and quality orchestral experiences and to enhance the cultural environment of the families and communities it serves.
